Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on Sunday, Feb. 14. Two free evening events already on the city calendar for that night sit a few steps apart on Ocean Drive: a sunset concert on the promenade and a Latin jazz night at The Betsy. The rest of the week brings a free outdoor movie, the Lincoln Road Art Walk and free late hours at The Bass.

We will add Valentine’s dinners and special events as Miami Beach restaurants and venues announce them, usually in January.

Sunday, Feb. 14: Valentine’s Day on Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, 6 to 7:30 p.m., on the promenade between 14th Street and 14th Place. A free Sunday concert series among the palms, run by the Ocean Drive Improvement Association with the city.

Cuerda & Clave at The Betsy Piano Bar, 6 to 11 p.m., The Betsy Hotel, 1440 Ocean Drive. Pianist and composer Edgar Pantoja and percussionist Gabriel Ramon Placido play Cuban-rooted Latin jazz. The city lists it as free; details and reservations are on The Betsy’s calendar.

Earlier in the day, the Lincoln Road Farmers Market runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Meridian and Washington avenues, with fresh-cut flowers among the stalls.

Wednesday, Feb. 10: outdoor movie. The city’s SoundScape Cinema Series shows Sarah’s Oil at 8 p.m. at SoundScape Park, 400 17th St. It is free; bring a blanket.

Thursday, Feb. 18: art night. The Lincoln Road Art Walk runs 6 to 9 p.m., a self-guided evening of galleries, artist meet-and-greets and public sculpture; galleries taking part include Oolite Arts and FIU Miami Beach Urban Studios. The same evening The Bass, 2100 Collins Ave., is open late with free admission from 6 to 9 p.m., as it is every third Thursday.
