The Beachwalk

The Beachwalk is a nine-mile oceanfront promenade for walkers, runners and cyclists, from South Pointe Park to 87 Street. It began as a wooden boardwalk from 23 to 45 streets; the city finished it as a wider, ADA-accessible paver path in June 2022, connecting Miami Beach to Surfside and Bal Harbour. It is open 24 hours and is part of the Atlantic Greenway Network, a non-motorized route along the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Key West. Restrooms, water fountains and playgrounds sit at beach entrances and parks along the way.
