Brunch in Miami Beach is mostly a hotel and Ocean Drive affair. The weekend brunches below are served in South Beach and Mid-Beach hotels and restaurants, from the Art Deco District up Collins Avenue to the 40s. Most run late morning to mid-afternoon and take reservations.

Weekend brunch

Jaya at The Setai, 2001 Collins Ave. Weekend brunch is 11:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant keeps a casual elegant dress code: no sportswear, flip-flops or beachwear, though elegant sandals and shorts are welcome at brunch. Phone: 305-600-3099.

LT Steak & Seafood at The Betsy, 1440 Ocean Drive. Michelin chef Laurent Tourondel’s restaurant in The Betsy Hotel serves weekend brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It also serves breakfast daily from 7 to 11 a.m. The hotel posts the brunch menu on its menus page.

Cecconi’s Miami Beach, 4385 Collins Ave. In the same building as Soho Beach House, with an open-air courtyard. Cecconi’s says it is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a brunch on weekends; its brunch menu is on the site.

Sunday brunch

MILA, 1636 Meridian Ave. A rooftop buffet brunch with live music every Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., served as a two-hour experience. Stations include carved-to-order jamón, sushi and hand rolls, a raw bar, Mediterranean mezze, a robata grill and pastries. Drink packages, including alcohol-free ones, are sold separately.

Drag brunch

Palace South Beach, Ocean Drive. An LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant on Ocean Drive since 1988, Palace holds its drag brunch with performances Friday through Monday; book a table on its site. The bar is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday to Sunday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday to Thursday.

All-day breakfast

Front Porch Cafe, 918 Ocean Drive. On Ocean Drive since 1989, it serves breakfast all day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to its food menu: omelets, breakfast tacos and the rest.
