Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. Three regular Sunday events are already on the city calendar for that day: the Lincoln Road Farmers Market, with its flower stalls, in the morning, and two free evening concerts on Ocean Drive. Restaurants and venues usually announce Mother’s Day brunches and special events in April; we will add them here as they publish them.

Morning: market on Lincoln Road
The Lincoln Road Farmers Market runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Sunday, rain or shine, on Lincoln Road between Meridian and Washington avenues. Vendors sell fruit, vegetables and fresh-cut flowers. The market is one of South Florida’s oldest, according to the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District.
Lincoln Road’s stores keep business hours of 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, the district says, though each store sets its own; see our shopping guide for parking and the free trolley.
Evening: free music on Ocean Drive
- Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, 6 to 7:30 p.m., on the promenade between 14th Street and 14th Place. A free concert series run by the Ocean Drive Improvement Association with the city.
- Cuerda & Clave at The Betsy Piano Bar, 6 to 11 p.m., 1440 Ocean Drive. Pianist Edgar Pantoja and percussionist Gabriel Ramon Placido play Latin jazz; the city lists it as free. Reservations are on The Betsy’s calendar.
