Outdoor dining in Miami Beach centers on Ocean Drive, where four of the six places on this list have a terrace, patio or rooftop between Second and 12th streets. Mid-Beach has a hotel courtyard on Collins Avenue, and North Beach has a sushi terrace in Ocean Terrace Park.
How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Miami Beach’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and kept only places whose own websites say they have outdoor seating, a patio, a terrace, a courtyard or a rooftop. We checked each place on Oct. 10, 2026. Plenty of Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive restaurants put tables outside but do not say so on their sites, so they are not here yet. The list is alphabetical. The places
Cafe Americano on Ocean Drive is an all-day diner with oceanfront terrace tables, according to its site. Upstairs, Terraza by Cafe Americano is an open-air, climate-controlled rooftop with screens for sports and gaming. A second Cafe Americano is at 1776 Collins Ave.
Cecconi’s Miami Beach on Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with an outdoor courtyard that can be booked for private events. Its weekend brunch is in our brunch guide.
CJ’s Crab Shack on Ocean Drive is a family-owned seafood restaurant that lists outdoor dining, frozen drinks, oysters, crab cakes, seafood pasta and fish sandwiches.
Lolo’s Surf Cantina is in the Marriott Stanton South Beach Resort at Second Street and Ocean Drive. Its patio is hung with antique birdcages, and it serves Baja-inspired seafood and tacos with service at the hotel pool from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on the beach from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Palace South Beach has been on Ocean Drive since 1988. It has a rooftop bar and holds its drag brunch from Friday to Monday, with drag shows on Friday nights.
Sushi Bichi sits in Ocean Terrace Park in North Beach, beside the beach, with terrace tables and an outdoor bar. It serves sushi and pan-coastal dishes, recommends reservations and keeps bar seats first come, first served.
