What it is
The festival calls itself a national, star-studded, four-day event with the world’s leading wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities: Food Network stars, celebrities, sommeliers and social media names. It lists more than 105 events and more than 500 experts.
It began as a one-day event, the Florida Extravaganza, at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus. All net proceeds go to FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, which the festival says has received more than $46 million so far; more than 1,200 students work the festival each year. The 2026 festival was its 25th.
