Halloween is Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. The City of Miami Beach has not published official trick-or-treat hours, and nothing on its calendar or in its press releases sets them. Families set their own time. Sunset in Miami Beach that evening is 6:40 p.m., and it is fully dark by about 7 p.m., when civil twilight ends.
Updated Oct. 28: the city has still not set hours, and its news releases since Oct. 10 announce none. The Boo Bash (Oct. 25) and the other mid-October events are past; Lincoln Road’s children’s trick-or-treating, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31, is still listed.
Daylight saving time ends the next morning, Sunday, Nov. 1, so clocks go back an hour after Halloween night.

Safety
From the FDA’s Halloween food safety tips:
- Give children a light meal before they head out, so they wait to eat treats.
- Accept and eat only commercially wrapped treats.
- At home, check wrappers for pinholes, tears or an unusual look, and throw away anything suspicious.
On the street:
- It is dark by about 7 p.m., so children out after that need a light and an adult.
- For anything that is not an emergency, call the Miami Beach Police Department non-emergency line at 305-673-7900. In an emergency, call 911.
What this means for you
- No official hours: plan around sunset at 6:40 p.m. and full dark by about 7.
- Lincoln Road is the one organized trick-or-treat route: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- The clocks change overnight on Halloween; Sunday morning comes an hour later.
